Ozy, my mother is ill so I am almost all the time with her, where I don't have internet. Will be posting more when she is better.

Hopefully that'll be soon enough.

Hopefully that'll be soon enough. I hope so too. Tonight, she managed to get up on her feet by herself, without help, and she feels a bit better today. Unfortunately, doctors did not help -- the painkillers she uses did not help much. But it's all life. Dans l'ordre des choses.

Doctors, we call them "matasanos" in Spanish. Something like "kill-healthy".
On an unrelated note, I was immortalized by googles street car last week as I got out of home, but I still don't see the updated images for my street. I didn't imagine it would take them this long.

Finally home, although I will probably have to go back. Hopefully, my mother feels better, she is able to get up by herself and walk.
Meanwhile, on the first program of television, a professor of climatology is debunking myths about CO2, human influence on climate, etc. Very instructive. I knew most of the arguments, but I am surprised to see this on state television.

As a side note: just read the story of a Belgian family who took an Ukrainian family to their house, and now, after six months, these poor Belgians discover that they can no longer get rid of them. What bothers them, moreover, is that "those poor Ukrainians" have curly hair and are... Muslim!

Not related to the topic of this thread, but in Spain, people who establish residence in a given property are very difficult to legally evict, no matter who the owner turns out to be. Just saying.

Meanwhile... and also unrelated to the topic, but hilarious:

In France, it's almost impossible. I thought we were the only ones with crazy laws. Outside the scope or "normal" gender related craziness, that is.

Milošu, it's unfortunately a project. There has always been a negative selection (from the perspective of the ordinary citizens, obviously) in politics, but this is a scientific endeavor: how to select the most stupid, corrupt, and amoral people for the job of utter destruction of their respective countries.
I thought, when I was young, that "Yes Minister" was a comedy. I realized much later that it was a documentary. And Jim Hacker was a genius compared to the Ursula, Josep, Macron of this world.
As a footnote, it reminded me of the Serbian political scene in the 2000.

Just listened to a "round table" with Alexander Mercouris and Gonzalo Lira about the Occidental elites. When I deeply, profoundly think about it, I am not bothered by the almost inscrutable stupidity of some computerchess German journalists and the like, but by - it has just dawned on me, being slow as I am -- the fact that they are perfect representative of the European political class. Anyway, I am horrified by the ingenious thought that, who knows?, Ursula van der However perhaps plays chess and that she could appear one day on Prodeo.

She doesn't even have a FIDE rating. So, fat chance.

She doesn't even have a FIDE rating. So, fat chance. My bad... I forgot that one needs a minimum of intelligence to play chess. But... Could she have a chance as a Centaur? Better, as a Hydra?
