BTW, Ozy, if you want to fully understand the role of energy in contemporary societies, I can send you some books by Vaclav Smil. They are eye opening.
A quote:
"more recently, physicist Robert Ayres has repeatedly stressed in his writings the central notion of energy in all economies: “the economic system is essentially a system for extracting, processing and transforming energy as resources into energy embodied in products and services.” Simply put, energy is the only truly universal currency, and nothing (from galactic rotations to ephemeral insect lives) can take place without its transformations."

NATO ordered its puppets on Kosovo to start a new war, it seems, to punish Serbs for not obeying. TINA, indeed.

More than a punishment... a statement.

Watching the Dreizin report right now to understand what it is all about, but I'll figure it eventually. Anyway, I am surprised that there is "moderation" of the administrator here. I also posted it in the other forum, in the "Science" section. It's fully explained there, as there doesn't seem to be the same restrictions as in ProBoards. Not that the explanation is enough for the resident troll, of course.

I am watching my komi television, waiting for some news. There is the usual program about Ukraine, and one of the guest said: "Putin will probably be remembered as the second greatest Russian leader... after Stalin." I don't know why, but I could not refrain from smiling. At least, somebody who is not ashamed to be a communist.
A lot of videos I missed from the Russian side. Some infos not present in the Western MSM -- probably too optimistic. To have a perspective: many of the guests are university professors, historians, sociologists, journalists, well educated and well respected.
OTOH... A new war on Kosovo and Metochia would be a disaster for everybody. For us, certainly, but even more for the Sqiptars. Objectively, there should not be a war: the disproportion of the armed forces is several fold for Serbia. The difference in heavy material is still huge, despite Serbia having not invested in her army for almost a decade, but lately, things have changed. Kosovo, as a state, is not viable. It cannot finance itself, with a population of 700k, without agriculture, industry, tourism. They have nothing. Moreover, the level of criminalization and corruption of their society is higher than Ukraine. In the last 20 years, the birth rate among Sqiptars has been in free fall. They have no money, no children, and, without Serbia, no future.
Objectively, the Serbian army would probably have no difficulties to occupy the North, populated by Serbs. The problem is the KFOR.
A war would also create disruption of the flows of heroine in Europe. Not good for business.

Latest news: the US demand from Prishtina to calm down.
EDIT: It seems that all of this was a German initiative.
EDIT: When I think about it... probably not.

“Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed from one form to another.” (Albert Einstein). Wetransfer for the whole bunch. The first to read is "How the world really works".

BTW, five days ago Blinken was in Priština. (Priština is a Serbian toponyme, like 90% of place names on Kosovo, so I'll write it in its original form from now on.)

"Putin will probably be remembered as the second greatest Russian leader... after Stalin." Not sold on Stalin. It's quite clear he was brutal, and the question I don't think anyone can answer is whether he was unnecessarily so, as in excessive. This is the real question to determine if he was good (much less great). PS: Kosovo, just another probe like Transnistria, Kaliningrad, Belarus...

Stalin was not as black as he is presented, but he also is not an angel. Far from it. I liked the pride the speaker showed when mentioning Stalin. And... there is no electricity... Anyway. I slept badly and had time to think. The situation is not good, but a month can be very, very long. So many things can change. I will probably have to go to work before the end of that month.
Here is a scene of a legendary Serbian comedy -- The Balkan Spy. The brothers retrieve the hidden picture of camarade Stalin from the cellar. Unfortunately, the best part of the scene is cut here.

"Nosferatu will go to Taiwan nonetheless" Let's get the party started. Revenge is a dish best served cold. The Chinese will take their time to tighten the screws. Anyway, all of this is nothing new, unexpected. In 2016, we knew that a war against Russia was in Clinton's plans -- this plan was elaborated already in the time of Obama's administration. There is an evident continuity in the plans of the... neocons? Deep state? US?
The situation on Kosovo is slowly escalating. I just hope we will avoid war.

I'd say they don't have time for small potatoes now, sorry. China and Russia were always the main courses, and they already run trough the entrees. Maybe if they weren't going to die of indigestion, they could consider dessert, but I don't see it.
