Well, I can't locate you with a high RD. 70 gives you 10K members. 700 gives you a million! I just registered today. Then I had to go to my village house and I haven't played any game yet. Just solved a few endings and tried the repertoire tree.

Then, one cannot search for users. Free accounts cannot, also, solve more than 10 endings per day. Overall, Lichess seems much better. You could try it. Free, lots of stuff.

Meanwhile, Nepo beat Ding Liren in the second game. It seems that his catastrophic match against Carlsen helped Ian to work on his chess and make a step forward. But the match is not over, and it is too early to make predictions.

Especially the one when you learn how to mate with a bishop and a night. These exercises are especially good for my son.

Many ways to practice the B+N mate, just playing against Houdini does it.

Many ways to practice the B+N mate, just playing against Houdini does it. I tried against Hiarcs, with TBs. But here, the explanations/instructions help a lot. All the key positions are well marked. I remember that I had an interface that showed attacked cases, and it helps too.

Many of the propaganda videos reveal much more truth than intended. The other day, some Ukr journalists wanted frontline soldiers to encourage civilians to join the army. They would have done better not to say anything. One soldier even said some poetry: today sila, tomorrow mogila.

Everyone reveals information with what they say, as well as with that they don't. What's known as "reading Between the lines". I usually pay attention to that, because unlike that which is actually said, the information contained will be the truth.

I usually pay attention to that, because unlike that which is actually said, the information contained will be the truth. As a linguist -- who spent most of his life learning communication as a whole -- I am well aware of this. In general, people are unable to "read between the lines". Men for one set of reasons (inability to be proficient in reading instinctively body language, nor to detect NLP, e.g.) women for others (I find them unable to understand complex notions which implies elementary causality). Usually, it requires wide education and training (as an aside, I am perplexed how a woman who is an expert for saying nothing can pass for a philosopher, here I mean Julia Kristeva). Don't forget that you are both, and that the videos and newspapers are not really intended for us. Stendhal wrote books "for the happy few", but then, Stendhal is long dead.

BTW, as an other aside, the other day I was driving back from KM with the young Sasha, a colleague of yours. We spoke about Byzantine philosophy, medieval scholastics, Descartes... Such a pleasant travel! Usually I have women passengers, and stories about children, shopping, and similar stuff.

To be fair, superficial conversations happen when you meet most people, regardless of sex.

[...] Stendhal wrote books "for the happy few", but then, Stendhal is long dead. You should've heard some of the things Adela Cortina used to say. I mostly avoided her in the post-grade courses, but I still remember the neo-liberal turd she tried to slip us, in the one I did attend.
What Stendhal probably didn't envision, was the high price belonging to that group would eventually have to be paid.

I suspect that he actually wrote "for the unhappy few", but that the proofreader touched up this sentence.
